“Hi everybody my name is Phil from Flyford Connect IT support and services and Telephone Systems. I was doing something
the other day, which was work related where I needed to provide my email address to sign up to a particular service, that got me thinking.
When I used to do this, I used to use a hotmail or a gmail email address that I wasn’t too concerned if my email address got shared with other companies and therefore start receiving junk mail. What I tend to do now is set up an alias for my work email address that could be something like products or services or temporary@ flyfordconnect.co.uk.
Those emails will come directly to my mailbox, however in Outlook I can set up a rule that says any emails that are sent to firstname.lastname@example.org get filtered into or stored into an additional folder. That way if that email address is shared out by the company that you’re signing up to and you start receiving junk mail, then at least you are able to receive the emails into that folder and then possibly in 12 months time remove the alias so that you will no longer receive emails on that temporary address.
So if that sounds like something that could interest you then contact us today and we will be happy to discuss that with you. Thank you very much.”
